About

We built one approval engine so companies stop building ten

Most companies approve things in a dozen places: email for purchases, a spreadsheet for leave, a chat thread for contracts. Each one has its own rules, its own gaps and no shared record. Approval Ocean 360 replaces all of them with one engine that does not care what is being approved.

Why domain-blind

A purchase, an expense claim, a contract and a leave request look different, but they are approved the same way: someone submits a form, the right people decide in the right order, and the outcome is recorded.

So a policy in Approval Ocean 360 is just that: a form plus a route. The engine never needs to know what the form is about. That is why the same product runs every process in your company, and why a new process is a new policy, not a new system.

Rules the engine never breaks

01

The route is fixed when a request is sent

Rules run once, at submission, and the resolved route is saved on the request. Editing a policy later never changes work already in progress.

02

The audit trail only grows

Every submission, decision, delegation and file event is recorded with the person and the time. Nothing in the trail is edited or removed.

03

Nobody decides their own request

The person who raised a request cannot approve it, and that holds for administrators too. They can cancel it instead.

04

Arabic and English, both ways

The whole interface works left to right and right to left, and form fields can carry an Arabic label next to the English one.

Part of Ocean 360

Approval Ocean 360 is one of the Ocean 360 business apps built by MA Ocean 360. It runs on its own today. Through its adapter contract, it is designed to become the approval layer for the other apps in the suite, so a document, a contract or a purchase raised elsewhere is approved in the same inbox.
