Delegations
Out-of-office routing with boundaries.
A delegation routes your incoming assignments to a colleague, automatically, while it is active. The original approver is recorded on every delegated assignment, so the audit trail always shows both people.

Time bounds
A delegation starts immediately (or at a chosen date) and can carry an end date. Open-ended delegations stay active until revoked. Only the delegator can revoke their own delegation.
How routing applies it
Delegation is applied at assignment time: when a stage activates and resolves you as an
approver, the engine checks your active delegations in scope and assigns the delegate instead,
recording delegatedFrom. Work already sitting in your inbox is not moved retroactively.
